Can I have a do-over morning????

To Do 2/24/10
- Work on Committee Meeting Summary
- Talk to tax guy at UC
- Seminar
- Dentist
- Start Free group!
- Attempt to not carry on w/ the current morning's trends...

This morning has not been one of the best... and I am hoping that the day is just up from here! First of all... Sham is having some poop problems and I had to pull a giant dog dingle off/out of him (again). I then went down stairs to discover that there was wonderfully smelling coffee just starting to brew... coffee that Adam teases me w/ in the morning that I can not currently have while he is still sleeping soundly in bed.... Off to work (enough said!) This was followed by hitting a very slick spot on the floor at work this morning when I was walking in and totally wiping out - luckily no one was there to see it though b/c I come in pretty early! I then went to get my lunch out of my purse and put it away to find that my soup has exploded all over (and I was being so good and bringing my lunch again!). After cleaning up the soup mess, I went to wash my hands in out sink and bumped some glass ware that a co-worker (cough - MITUL - cough) left right by the edge instead of putting it away - this of course crashed to the floor and broke all over! At this point - I really just need to sit down (it is not even yet 7:30AM!). Someone has used my chair and moved it - so I go and get it, turn of my computer and I see this as my new background...

nice... can I go back to bed and try again???

  1. Ok! So are you ok from the fall? How is baby Avery? No one there to help is not always a good thing:(
I do love the pic above, who was the artist?
Hope your day gets better from here on.
    Love you...Mom

  2. Like your mom, I was worried when I read about the fall. Hope you and Avery are fine. Bruises?

Loved finding your blog. So nice to be able to be able to keep up with what is going on in your life. Seeing the pics of Avery's room and reading the joy in between the lines of your blog brings back sweet memories of Bill and me waiting for our first baby to be born - Brian. BTW...we moved when I was 7 months pregnant from TN to Dallas, TX. That was interesting.

I just finished doing Beth Moore's Ruth. Loved it! Which study are you doing?

I am so happy for you and Adam. I look forward to reading about Avery and seeing pics on your blog in the future. Give your mama a hug from me.
    Love,
    Mrs. Horton

  3. Avery and I are fine - thanks! She didn't get bumped at all :)

I am doing Breaking Free - it is really good! We are just starting week 5. I'm glad you liked the Ruth one, Mrs. Horton. Have a good week!

  4. Who did the drawing? Very nice. If the molecular biology thing doesn't work out, you can make it as a fine artist.
